AKAS was founded in 1976 by Mr. Ali Kavak (General Manager of Union of Mediterranean Exporters – AKIB) Initially the company began packaging and shipping products. As the company rapidly developed into a major fruit packaging and trading company it changed it's name to AKAS.

While our company is active in export of wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables from the day it has been established to today, customer satisfaction and providing fast, economical and quality products are given particular importance.

- Today our company use advance optical technology to separate products by size, weight and even color.
- The company also produces a wide range of packaging tapes and solutions.
- We have a product processing capacity of 50-55 tons per hour.
- We have 10 cold store rooms that have 1.500 ton capacity along with vast ripening rooms.
- We also cooperate with manufacturers from Spain, Italy and Jordan.
Our products are exported to Russia, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq. Our national customers are wholesalers, and numerous retailers - X5, Magnit, Dixi, Monetka, Metro (Russia), Carrefour (Romania and Poland), Biedronka (Poland).
