A large portion of visitors to Hoi An dapart with at least a couple of additional garments in their luggage, and why not? Inexpensive, excellent quality, and and with a large range of fabrics available it makes sense to take advantage of one of Vietnam’s most charming location’s long standing traditions. Modern day travellers aren’t the only ones to refresh the wardrobe while passing through Hoi An, however. During the 16th and 17th centuries traders on the spice, silk and ceramic routes also made the most of the local skill that has been passed down from generation to generation.
