Charlie Cu has been tattooing since 2005, taking his craft across the United States before settling in Atlanta, Georgia. His fascination with the arts began at a young age. Charlie’s love of the visual mediums, painting and sketching, pushed him to pursue tattooing, where he decided to center his focus.
The root of Charlie’s inspiration for his work lies in Japanese and American traditional tattooing, two of the most influential styles of the craft. Over the years, through his study of classical tattooing, he has grown to pursue a wide range of tattoo styles, including black and grey realism, portraiture, and surreal subject matter.
