Dasman Diabetes Institute

Dasman Diabetes Institute (DDI) was established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, the late Amir of the State of Kuwait, and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) to combat the prevalence of diabetes in Kuwait.

To address the diabetes epidemic in Kuwait through focused diabetes research, integrated prevention, training and education.

Dasman Diabetes Institute is a dedicated research centre for Diabetes, staffed by renowned consultants and specialist nurses. Our team helps patients understand and manage their conditions, empowering them to maintain a good quality of life. We believe that people with diabetes should be as free and able as everyone else to do what they enjoy, and maintaining good health for a long and successful life.
