Dr. Al Barri received his Bachelor in Science (1985) and his Doctor of Medicine (1990) from the American University of Beirut – AUB. In addition to 2 years of General Surgery, he specialized in Otolaryngology, Head, and Neck Surgery at AUB (1995).
Dr. Al Barri worked as an ENT locom in Al Mowasat Hospital in Kuwait, and an ENT Consultant in Saad Medical Center in KSA (1997-2000), in a private clinic in Beirut, Lebanon.He is a Consultant with admitting privilege to BMG and Najjar Private Hospitals in Beirut, Lebanon.
Dr. Al Barri specialized in Rhinology diseases and surgeries including FESS – Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery – for sinusitis and polypectomy, Reduction of Inferior Turbinates for better breathing and to reduce snoring, Repair of Deviation Septum, and Rhinoplasty (closed reduction without outside scarring).
Dr. Al Barri also specializes in operating on children for recurrent tonsillitis, snoring, and mouth breathing along with recurrent ear infections. He is specialized in operating on salivary glands (parotidectomy), masses and cysts in the neck, and in removing cysts and polyps from vocal cords in cases of hoarse voice.
Dr Al Barri also specializes in Tympanoplasty (repair of perforated ear drum ) ,and in stapedectomy in conductive hearing loss patients with otosclerosis and in mastoidectomy surgery.
