Luke Ormsby Hair Is the vision of namesake Luke Ormsby. A London born hairdresser who started his hairdressing career at the age of 13.
I worked as a Saturday boy at Toni&Guy and instantly fell in love with the buzz of a busy salon. I couldn’t get enough of being around all the different stylists and colourists and watching all the creativity take place. I was mesmerised by it all!
Luke completed his apprenticeship and continued to both cut and colour his client’s hair. Which is something many stylists choose not to do. However, he feels that it’s impossible to achieve the whole picture of what a client has in mind if you don’t have a great understanding of both elements.
I love cutting and colouring hair, and I couldn’t choose one or the other if I had to! I know a lot of stylists would never dream of doing the whole package, but it was a natural decision for me to work with my hands in the clay of all of it!
