Hello and thank you for stopping by.
I would like to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about Maximus Collectibles, my family, and our Pokemon journey.
Maximus, our 8 year old son, came to us in July, 2020 telling us that he would like to start collecting, and investing in Pokemon cards. Like every other responsible 8 year old, he had done his research by watching YouTube videos for way longer than he should have been allowed to, but welcome to 2020.
So, we did some research so we could enjoy this new endeavor with him. While doing our research, we quickly realized that we can turn this into a business. So, we went to GameStop and it just happened to be a BOGO sale. Maximus' excitement was so infectious that all the people in the store sat down on the floor together to open his cards with him. We fell in love with the idea of Pokemon instantly.
With all that excitement, we started buying packs to open together as a family. This would be a good time to introduce my wife, Yanna (aka Sexy Mama).
We had so much fun opening packs together that we couldn't wait to get our hands on the next ones.
That's when my brain and effort went into overdrive. I was going to find a way to turn this into a business so we could have more and more time spent together as a family.
I've started, managed, and sold business all my life (I'm 44 years old at the time of this writing) but I had never been this excited about it.
That brings us to today. Maximus, Yanna, and I stared our business, Maximus Collectibles in October 2020. We're proud to run our business under the mindset of God, family, business. I'll explain that more only if asked. I have no intention of shoving my beliefs (no matter how proud I am of them) onto you.
We have sold online, through FB groups and marketplace and other social media platforms until we decided to create our own web presence. So, please, take your time to look around and feel free to reach out to us with any questions or c
