Soundcheck Rock Academy

We provide music lessons for kids through adults in the Columbia, MD area. Students choose from a variety of instruments, play in bands, and participate in live shows.

Founded by veteran educator and rock musician Timothy France-Kelly, Soundcheck Rock Academy helps kids, teens, and adults discover their dream of playing in a band. Students receive hour-long private lessons each week on piano, drums, guitar, vocal, and more, and each student has the opportunity to play in a band with his or her peers. Many bands stick together for years!
