Beyond Design, Inc. is a full service design and remodeling firm located in Alexandria, Virginia serving Metropolitan Washington, DC and surrounding areas. Owned and operated by designer Kathy Tufts, the firm relies on an established network of trusted employees and subcontractors to transform living spaces. Working with Beyond Design avoids the uncertainty, hassle and expense of interviewing and selecting multiple subcontractors to do a project. We handle full project coordination giving you a turnkey experience from design to build-out. We are with you every step of the way from design to decorating, and throughout the steps of construction: demolition, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring (hardwood, tile and stone work, carpet, vinyl, etc.), painting, and final finishes of completion.
