Dr. Basra earned her medical degree from Leicester University in the United Kingdom and went on to specialise in child and adolescent psychiatry in Scotland.
As a medical doctor, she's been practising for more than ten years, and as a child and adolescent psychiatrist, she's been a consultant because 2018. She is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK and may be found on the Specialist Register maintained by the General Medical Council.
She earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia in Canada before deciding to pursue a career in medicine.
