About Gateway Veterinary Centre
Gateway Veterinary Centre is a full-service canine and feline hospital in the heart of South Edmonton. Our newly built veterinary clinic is easily accessible by Whitemud Drive, Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail roads. We are located next to LA Fitness and CIBC Bank.
Mission
This clinic was established with an aim to serve our Edmonton pet community and provide honest, reliable and independent advice that is evidence-based. We are open late and open 7 days a week and 365 days a year. We accept walk-ins normally. (Right now we appreciate if you call us ahead due to COVID restrictions). You can also use our online portal to book appointments or check availability. We also offer an online pet store for you to order treats and foods from.

- Annual Wellness Programs: Our health examination starts with medical history (i.e. different symptoms experienced by the patient) followed by a complete physical examination. During this process, our staff Veterinarians may offer different diagnostics options to arrive at a definitive diagnosis.

- Vaccinations: For vaccinations, we follow AAHA guidelines.

- Blood and urine Testing: We use state of the art latest HESKA analyzers. Early detection of various problems leads to the best outcomes for pets.

- Dentistry: Dogs and cats need regular dental care to remove tartar and plaque to prevent pets from losing their teeth and remove bad breath. During routine visits at our hospital, our veterinarians advise about routine dental hygiene of pets.

- Surgery: We perform every surgery from routine spay and neuters to more advanced soft tissue surgery.

- Radiology: We are very happy to inform you that we have an on-site digital radiology machine at our hospital, this equipment is used to diagnose and visualize within the animal body.

- Behavioural advice: We are happy to provide you helpful behavioural advice. We closely follow this blog.

- End-of-life care: The hardest part of loving a pet is having to say goodbye. As animal lovers and medical professionals, we want to support you when it’s time to make end-of-life decisions.
