In the 1960s, at the age of 19, Laurel Burch became a creative phenomenon when she started crafting one-of-a-kind jewelry and selling it on the streets of San Francisco. Laurel's daughter, Aarin Burch, established Laurel Burch Studios in 2012 as an independent, black-owned jewelry company and retailer.
