About Lunag Prabang, Laos
The NamKhan Project is in Luang Prabang in Laos. Also situated at the NamKhan Eco Farm are the NamKhan public gardens situated about 5km outside of Luang Prabang in Laos along the the NamKhan River.
Visitors can spend time at the public gardens and visit the Eco Farm. End of January we will open a waterfall, pool and spa area, outdoor exercise area and many more treasures.
The Eco Farm is highly diversified and it includes a range of tropical fruits, vegetables, roots and herbs. Visitors can join our classes or workshops. Detailed information will follow soon on our website.
Mission
Behind the NamKhan Project Ecofarm Laos is a group of European enthusiasts who are in love with it and the pristine nature it has to offer. NamKhan means “water” and “river” in Lao and is the name of the river on which we are found. We have adapted its name into the project name. In 2016, we began the advancement of a biologically feasible permaculture eco farm joined with an instructional hub for permaculture, horticulture and working as an instructional hub for woodwork/carpentry, bamboo wicker basket creation, along with other textiles. We purchased a plot outside Luang Prabang for the advancement of a hotel resort site however it serves another purpose.

The best area you will find to stay in luang prabang is Namkhan Eco Farm. There are beautiful public gardens. You can spend your day comfortable bamboo sun beds where you can experience peace with bank of river. You can swim and explore surroundings with nature.
You can get creative and increase your skills as they offer courses like permaculture, horticulture, bamboo wicker basket making, carpentry, urban farming, and material creation.
They also offer course of learning yoga and care in the mornings and at sunsets. T
There is also beach volleyball court, a sand badminton court, 2 petanque courts, and a natural outdoor gym. Other facilities include a swimming pool, an adventure playground, yoga platforms, changing rooms, and showers.
