Mission
From 2021 RIC, one of the UK’s most well-established independent colleges, will be offering a range of refreshingly distinctive summer courses. Building on the College’s reputation for both academic excellence and mind-blowing creativity we are offering 4 different courses in very small classes where international visitors will study and socialise alongside local students.
At RIC the focus is on individuality, diversity and flexibility, values we’ve woven into our courses. We are looking forward to welcoming young people from all over the world to Rochester from July to mid-August to improve their English, develop their passions and have a taste of life at a British boarding school.
Description
At RIC creative arts share equal billing with traditional academic study and this successfully distinctive approach continues with our summer programmes.
• Our Routemap English course is designed to prepare students for academic A level study and will introduce them to key tools to help them make the transition to sixth form successfully while improving their academic English.
• Our English and Arts (Inspire English) course combines intensive language tuition with arts workshop from across the RIC curriculum including film-making and graphic design.
• Our two specialist courses, Business, Marketing & Arts (Creative Entrepreneurship) and Art & Design (Eco Arts) courses allow students to spend an interdisciplinary week exploring different interests and making connections across our curriculum.
All courses include an exciting programme of trips, activities and social events on our campus.
