SaucyBean Coffee

Established in 2020, SaucyBean is a Singapore-based coffee roaster and wholesaler dedicated to providing top-notch specialty coffee while supporting non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Their meticulously sourced and roasted coffee beans, delivered fresh to offices and homes, alongside high quality machinery promise an invigorating start to each day.

In 2019 an estimated 60% of the total global coffee production came from12.5 million small-holder farmers, 44% of whom were living in poverty and 22% in extreme poverty.

Almost 70 years earlier in 1950, Colombian coffee representative, Andres Uribe appeared before the US congress, his request - an ‘equitable price’ for coffee.

Philosopher George Santayana famously said, ‘Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.’

It makes one think - it’s almost as if the system were set up this way.
