Funeral Planning Authority

The Funeral Planning Authority (FPA) regulates providers of prepaid funeral plans in the UK. We are the only organisation that regulates prepaid plans in this way.

At the FPA we have strict rules and a code of practice, our extensive checks ensure that registered providers adhere to these rules. We also provide support to any customers who have a poor experience or have an issue with one of the registered providers.

The FPA is a community interest company, meaning we operate solely to help and benefit customers. We have an independent Board and an independent Compliance Committee in place, to embed and drive the highest possible standards for anyone who have purchased or thinking of purchasing a prepaid funeral plan.
