Description
When it comes to choosing your Hypnotherapist, there are many factors to be taken into consideration. What qualifications do they have? Have they undergone thorough training in both the practical and theoretical aspects of Hypnotherapy? What other skills do they have? Will they understand my problem if it is associated with a medical condition or if it is a psychological issue? I hope the following will reassure you a little before you call and speak to me or we meet. My name is Shonagh Terry and I am a fully qualified Hypnotherapist, having attained an HPD (Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma) from the highly respected UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts & Sciences. This has enabled me become a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), who are the main regulatory body for Hypnotherapists, the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), and be accepted by the NHSTA which holds the Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners. I also hold a Certificate of Disclosure from Disclosure Scotland supporting and regulating my working with children. I am therefore bound by the codes of ethics and practise of these various regulating authorities.
