The Culinary Arts Society is a society mainly devoted to the appreciation of young culinary talents and encouraging fellow Kenyans to explore their interests by providing them with an opportunity to pursue a career in Culinary Arts. Since the establishment of this well-renowned society, it has proceeded with organising an unforgettable experience for young cooking enthusiasts. We also want to not merely be a cooking club, but rather a place to prepare you to be a ‘Hotelier’.
Mission
The scope of this society is multi-fold: a) to provide a forum for foodies to express their love for food, b) to promote healthy eating among Kenyans , c) to encourage artists to look at and take up lucrative food-related careers, and d) to monitor, control and correct the standard of food served at the Kenyan restaurants.
Description
The major mission of the Culinary Professionals Society of Kenya is to increase awareness and knowledge of the arts of cooking, eating and drinking, as well as the literature of food and drink. The Society sponsors the opportunity to present offerings to a rarefied audience by supporting the program services of the Creative Arts Societyof Kenya. The membership of the Society represents an audience of dedicated food enthusiasts who are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and care deeply about food.
