Manikgonj Government Women’s College was established in 1972 in order to ensure the quality women empowerment. It was nationalized in 1985. There are three bucolic campuses around the heart of the manikgonj city, including a decorous college edifice, a colossal science building and 4 college hostels- a couple of which have some reminiscence values. The science building adorned with Sheikh Rasel ICT Auditorium in its second floor, while a number of Laboratories are also equipped in its ground floor. On the other hand, college library and Bangabandhu corner are located at the main building. In 2014, the college opened the door to higher education offering BA (pass) and honors coursed affiliated with National University. Addition to scholastic indoctrination, we accentuate our students on the co-curricular activities to embellish their latent aptitudes. The college has achieved eminent reputation in the field of sports, cultural activities, debating , programming languages both in local and national levels.
