KMDI, Inc. is a Kansas City, KS-based manufacturer of custom interior architectural elements, retail signage, & way-finding systems. By combining its proprietary & versatile substrate Microlte! with experienced craftsmanship and out-of-the-box thinking, KMDI is equipped to tackle any custom interior design need.

For over 35 years, KMDI has done custom fabrication of architectural elements for many of the major designers, architects, and corporations in the United States and Canada. MicroLite!™, a proprietary material invented and produced by KMDI, is a lightweight, seamless and fully encapsulated composite material available with a Class A fire rating. MicroLite!™ is as much a process as it is a material and as such is especially suited to create all manner of soffits, fascias, signage and displays, curves, rings or clouds. All can be formed with virtually no limitation to shape or size. And they can be finished with paint, wallpaper, wood veneer, laminates, metals-the choices are endless.
