Dr. Obasi, a native of Nigeria, is one of the few surgeons in Texas with triple board certifications. He is certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS), and the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery (ABFCS). He is a Diplomate of American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and American Board of Surgery. Dr. Obasi was recognized as one of "Americans Top Surgeons" by the Consumer's Research Council of America in 2013 and 2014. He has recently been recognized with the same honor in the field of Cosmetic Surgery in 2017. He has had many peer-reviewed articles published in professional journals.
