Simple Palate Restaurant offers Italian and American Comfort Food, conveniently located in the heart of Warren on Van Dyke, just north of I-696.
Those familiar with the area will remember our building at 27380 Van Dyke Ave as originally being the home of Pasquale’s Italian Restaurant from 1964 to 1985, and Juliano’s Italian Restaurant for the next 33 years when Kevin and Carol Romanko, along with our daughter and son-in-law Aubrey and Deven Futrell purchased the old Juliano’s building and opened Simple Palate Restaurant.
Many of the Italian favorites, including Lasagna, Chicken Marsala, Eggplant Parmigiana, Lobster Ravioli and of course Spaghetti featuring a century-old signature meat sauce recipe, remain available at Simple Palate.
Simple Palate’s wide range of offerings include a 10oz NY Strip, grilled to perfection, as well as Herbed Salmon, sautéed Perch, home-made Mac-n-Cheese, Shrimp and Sausage Skillet, and many others. Daily soups are homemade by our chefs, and we are adding seasonal specialties on a regular basis.
Simple Palate also offers a selection of sandwiches including Philly Cheesesteak, Reuben, and a Chicken Pesto sandwich as well as an 8oz Angus Beef hamburger. Our signature Simple Palate Fries are a wide, thin-cut fry that is unique and served tossed lightly in a seven-pepper blend for a little extra ‘punch’. Many of our customers have started ordering them ‘well done’ to give them more of a potato-chip crunch.
Simple Palate Restaurant also offers banquet and catering services, both on-site and off-site to meet our customer’s needs. At our location, we can accommodate banquets from 20 to 150 people in our 2 banquet rooms and the main dining room. Our catering services are available for customer pick-up or can be delivered to your location. We also offer staff as full-service at your location and can accommodate large events 24 hours a day, with experience servicing manufacturing plants on 2nd and 3rd shifts for holidays or other events.
