Having been in the industry since 1981, the Association of British Introduction Agencies (ABIA) is the first and only recognised regulatory body in the industry. This dating association is home to the UK’s leading independent introduction agencies, dating agencies, and matchmaking services. All of their subscribed agencies are subjected to the ABIA Code of Practice, ensuring all of their clients the highest level of ethical and quality dating experience.

Established in October 1981 at the instigation of the Office of Fair-trading, the Association of British Introduction Agencies dedicates itself to addressing the genuine concerns about the conduct of dating agencies.
