Horticulture Association of Bhutan initiate training programs and campaigns in order to disseminate information about the importance of horticulture in Bhutan. HAoB deals with agriculture livestock and the conservation of the environment among others.

The Horticulture Association of Bhutan, also known by its abbreviation HAoB, is a non-governmental organization established in the year 2019 under the Bhutan Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The association seeks to encourage general farmers and entrepreneurs to undertake commercial agriculture production and ultimately endeavor poverty alleviation. Our association aims in collaborating with relevant agencies to promote horticulture in Bhutan.
Bhutan has the potential capacity to grow various fruits and vegetables in different parts of the nation. However, with minimal knowledge and exposure, Bhutan/Bhutanese farmers concentrate on preselected cash crops for their livelihood. With HAoB as an agent for the nation, we will be able to provide various insights to solving issues such as similar crop production leading to no creation of choices, creating a workspace for graduates who studied agriculture works and business. through these initiatives, HAoB will be able to become the market link through which farmers will be able to supply premium quality products to the consumers and on the other hand, the consumers will have the benefits of consuming healthy products at affordable price
