Green Congo

The chimpanzee of Africa found in the Congo forest are an endangered species that face threat due to bushmeat trade and illegal pet trade. Multiple sanctuaries have been set up to give the chimpanzee in Congo a chance at survival and help nature in Democratic Republic of Congo. Additionally, to help nature in Africa it is important to educate locals and implement wildlife protection laws.

We aim to only grow and increase our reach in the coming years. Our plans include collaborating with the UN, WWF, and USAID in the near future for joint projects, as well as collaborating with the environment minister to finish the campaign of 1 billion trees.

The tropical rainforest of Congo and green Africa is world’s hope to combat climate change as it stores 30 billion tons of carbon and regulates the greenhouse gases hence preserving our ecosystem. However, the green environment in Congo is under a threat mainly due to the rising rate of deforestation in the Congo forest.

Global warming and its impact have shown us that we need to preserve the green world to sustain our planet. Therefore, International organizations along with the Congo government are working towards developing sustainable plans that protect the Congo forest as it’s one of the most important green environments in the world.
