Established in 2020, Svelta Marketplace and Svelta Courier are two e-commerce services that revolutionise the customer shopping experience. At the convenience of their home or while at work, they can easily find the products they are looking for and know in real time how long it would take to complete the delivery, according to the fleet availability. This takes away the hustle of deliveries arriving at unexpected times when the customer is not at the destination, saving time and money.

Svelta was created by a group of tech geeks who love digital innovations that make people's lives beautiful, easy and simple.
In November 2017, Melior ltd, observing the brochures "overflowing" and filling the front doors, yards and mailboxes of homes and businesses, "envisioned" an online platform that would replace promotional brochures.
Having this vision, Portofolakis was created. An online platform, where flyers, promotions, brochures and advertising catalogs are published online, so that consumers can have a complete picture and make the most advantageous choice based on quality and price.
The digital catalogs published in portofolakis give to the consumers a more complete picture of the offers -whether they are seasonal campaigns, loyalty schemes or promotions. Furthermore portofolakis offered to businesses the opportunity to better represent their product while reducing the waste and unnecessary paper consumption.
The COVID-19 pandemic, and the appearance of the first cases in Cyprus in March 2020, activated Melior's team. Initially, the need to help vulnerable groups who could not leave the house to buy the necessities, was the priority, while later the new reality made it clear that portofolakis should on the one hand satisfy the need of consumers to buy -in the safety of their home- the products they need, and on the other hand, to help not only small and medium size enterprises, but only all visionary business owners, that did not have a delivery service, to satisfy their customers by offering the home delivery option.
Portofolakis became Svelta. The Svelta service gave the opportunity to supermarkets, pharmacies, pet shops, florists, kiosks etc to send their products to their customers, while at the same time offered to people who were or remained unemployed the opportunity to earn extra money. The personal shoppers of Svelta undertake to visit the cooperating stores and to "buy" the products chosen by the customers of Svelta and deliver
