Psychedelic-assisted therapy refers to the use of psychedelic substances such as ketamine, psilocybin, or MDMA in a clinical setting to assist in the treatment of various mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. The psychedelic experience is facilitated and guided by a trained therapist, to help the individual gain insight, increase well-being, and reduce symptoms.
