Descrição
Northwest RiverPartners (NWRP) was founded in 2005 as The Coalition for Smart Salmon Recovery in response to the court challenge of the 2004 National Marine Fisheries Service Biological Opinion. The goal of the organization was to provide the public and policymakers with information that they weren’t hearing from the litigants. More than anything, NWRP recognized that the only way for the region to come together in agreement while debating over the emotional issue of salmon recovery was by focusing on sound science.
