Mr. Harilal incepted this organization post his years of wisdom in sweet making by starting a small shop in Benaras in the year 1976 with the capital been accumulated with years of hard work. He named this shop as Kamdhenu. The purpose behind this shop was to fulfil the wishes of people who wants to eat quality sweets at pocket friendly prices. During this time, Mr. Harilal created a variety of sweets which soon become the talk of town in the area of Benaras.
Mr. Amit Mankani at the age of 18 years used to go to shop to provide a helping hand to his father in operating the retail business. From here, he developed a keen interest of being an Entrepreneur and Discover a purpose of building the best food service provider brand which offers “Quality food”.
This is where, the entrepreneurial journey of Mr. Amit started its evolution. He came up with an idea of starting a food restaurant cum sweet shop in the name of Sweet Hut in his own motherland, Patna, Bihar. In the year 1996, Sweet Hut with an initial infrastructure of 250 Sq.ft was started in Boring Canal Road, Patna. Later, he entered in the fast food sector and even started a new outlet of Sweet Hut as a part of the market expansion strategy. At the same time, his young and dynamic brother Mr. Sandeep Mankani also joined with fresh ideas and business expansion strategies. And Amit Sandeep Food Pvt. Ltd came into existence.
The year 2010 came as a setback for the family with the demise of respected Harilalji. This is the time, when both brothers Amit Mankani and Sandeep Mankani decided to dedicate their complete business to their late father by rebranding their Sweet Hut and other fast food outlets to Harilal’s. Ever since then the brand name Harilal’s has earned huge acknowledgement, reputation and trust amongst the people in the state of Bihar.
