To be considered for admission, you must have a bachelor’s degree or complete the requirements for a degree before enrollment. The degree must be from a regionally accredited institution. Any major of study is acceptable for application.
A science GPA and cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher are strongly recommended to be considered for admission. All prerequisite courses must be taken at regionally accredited institutions (or foreign equivalents). No grade lower than a C will be accepted for prerequisite coursework. CLEP credits, AP credits, IB credits and P/F credits will not be considered for prerequisites.
All applicants must have exposure to medicine documented in a letter of recommendation from a health care provider. Exposure is required so applicants will have already determined whether the osteopathic medical profession is right for them. This experience can be paid or volunteer.
