Dr. Michael Platonov is the current Directory of Electrophysiology at the Trillium Heart Rhythm Program. Completing many Fellowships at the University of Alberta, University of Calgary, and University of Alabama, Dr. Michael Platonov is a well educated and well-respected Cardiologist. He came to Trillium in 2009 and has had the prililege of performing the following firsts at Trillium: Electrophysiology Study, Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation, Complex Mapping Case, Biventricular ICD implant, Subcutaneous ICD implant and Pulmonary Vein Cryoablation.
