Ghiath Mahmaljy, MD

Ghiath Mahmaljy, MD has been in private practice as an endocrinologist and internist since March 1985. He has special interest and extensive experience in managing diabetes and thyroid disorders. Dr. Mahmaljy completed his Fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where he also completed an internal medicine residency. He received his Medical Degree from the Damascus University School of Medicine. Dr. Mahmaljy is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology. He is married with four children and four grandchildren. He enjoys reading, swimming and watching all sports.
