Dr Agarwal’s interest in joint surgery includes the adult, the teenage and paediatric group, with his recognized expertise in the treatment of knee disorders. He is one of the few surgeons who are highly skilled in performing all kind of complex trauma surgery, pelvic surgery, primary partial and total joint replacement, revision hip and knee joint replacement, arthroscopic assisted joint surgery and minimal incision spinal surgeries.
He has travelled pan India to broaden his surgical knowledge and experience. He has participated in many workshops, seminars, instructional courses, CME throughout his career. He had completed Mch orthopaedics- a certified course from University of Seychelles, American Institute of medicine (2013), AO Advanced trauma course (2014), Revision Knee & Hip joint replacement cadaveric course (2015). He attained fellowship in Arthroscopy, Knee surgery & orthopaedic sports medicine- sports injury centre, Safdarjung Hospital, New delhi in November 2015.
Dr Agarwal graduated from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow (UP) in 2001 and attained postgraduate master degree in Orthopaedics in 2005 from Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut (UP). He has been an outstanding student and was awarded Jagdish Narain Mathur & Dr. R.C. Agnihotri Gold Medal for attaining highest marks in microbiology and pathology (1999), obtained honours in pharmacology and therapeutics (1999), medicine & paediatrics (2001) and ophthalmology(2001).
